What is the one word that describes what the American Lung Association is about?

It is that simple….breathing. When we cannot breathe, nothing else really matters!

Many of us with healthy lungs take this gift for granted. We breathe in and out about 42 times a minute and we never even think about it. That is not true for millions of Americans….those who suffer from lung disease.

If someone asked you what you spend to be able to take your next breath, what would you say?

The American Lung Association has been around for over 100 years working to ensure that you, me, and others can take their next breath. Many of you have been our invaluable partners in this mission with your donations.

Will you consider continuing that partnership into the future? Will you consider leaving a legacy, your legacy, of “breathing” to future generations?
